“Fred Thompson was instrumental in the passage of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, which abridges free speech by setting strict limits on how much an individual can spend in support of a candidate.

Austin Ron Paul Revolution greeted Fred Thompson outside his fundraiser to give him about 24 bucks worth of free speech… and a priceless message!

We wanted to give Mr. Thompson a copy of the Constitution, but he hurriedly jumped into his black SUV (after his campaign staff moved it around the hotel a few times in an attempt to shake us off).

It appeared more Ron Paul supporters greeted Fred than did Thompson’s own supporters.
